Waiting For a Good Google Adsense Alternative

As you might have noticed, I have not posted anything for the last 3 days.
I have been busy searching for a good Google Adsense alternative, after my Adsense account have been banned some time ago.

I have been trying many solutions, and have found not success at all.
I had two main problems in my search - first, many Publisher networks do not accept low-traffic sites; and second, the advertiser base of all the alternative publisher network is not half as big as Adsense’s is. Therefore, the advertisements I got had little to no connection to the content of CashCook.info.

The only real alternative to Adsense I have found is Yahoo Publisher Network, or YPN in short, however, YPN is in beta state for a few years already, and while in beta, it accepts only publishers from the USA.
Another good option that might become available soon, is Ask.com Publisher Network, that should launch at may 21st, so that’s two more weeks to wait.

For now, I’m using Adbrite. They are OK for what it comes to ad formatting, and for certain sites might even be better then Adsense, since their ads have a little picture inside them. And also, the ad formatting is much more flexible then anything I have ever seen.

However, when it comes to the ads themselves, well, take a look yourself, they are as untargeted as an ad can get, so I do not believe I’ll get much clicks on them.
And even if I do, every clicks pays around 4 cent. It will require hundreds of clicks until I get anything.
The main point of Adbrite is selling ad space, a.k.a. the advertiser pays you a weekly payment to display his ads on your site, but for low-traffic sites, such as CashCook.info, nobody will want to buy ads on it.

So I’m stuck without any decent monetization means for at least two weeks. Damn you Google Adsense, you win this time.

If you enjoyed this post, buy me a beer.
