Google Adsense - The Blogger’s Best Friend
Since I have recently been reading quite allot about blogging, my first few articles will concern making money from blogging.
But before I start teaching you actually how to blog, let’s first take a look at the blogger’s best friend - Google Adsense.
Google Adsense is definitely web’s biggest advertising system, and no matter what your blog deals with, Adsense will find ads to place on your site.
First of all, if you have not done yet:
Just note you’ll need a site with some content to get accepted to Adsense, so if your site is not ready yet, better first add some content, and only then apply.
The nice thing about Adsense is that it crawls your site, figures out what your site deals with, and displays ads that are connected to your site’s content.
This way there’s a much higher chance that somebody will click your add then just placing random ads, and you do not have to hand pick the ads you want to be displayed.
How does Google Adsense do that? Simple- it crawls your site, sees which keywords are used more often, and displays the highest paying ads for those keywords.
Once anybody clicks your ad- you get paid the amount of money the advertiser decided he is willing to pay.
This brings us to the next point - different ads pay different amount of money, or to be precise, different keywords pay different amount of money.
So, if you pick high paying keywords, and make sure their density is high enough for Google Adsense to notice them, you’ll get a killer.
Adsense Pay is a site that lists all high paying keywords.
You can see that there are a few keywords that pay more then 50$ per click, and hundreds of keywords that pay more then 10$ per click.
It will be hard to hit the $50+ keywords, but that’s really not a difficult task to find a few $10+ keywords that you can insert into your site in a density high enough.
Join me tomorrow when I’ll talk about different methods to place Google Adsense in your site, that will give you a high Click Through ratio.
And with Google Adsense - your profit equals Click Through Ratio X $ Per Click , so if you find high paying keywords, and place the ads in the right place, and provided you already have traffic, your profit with Google Adsense is guaranteed.
