I really tried to keep the ten days going, but c’mon, nine days passed, and all I’ve made is less then one dollar.
I’ve got 496 clicks in those nine days, and nearly no revenue whatsoever. My CPM is so low I can’t even express it in solid numbers, and the Adsense revenue has dropped by 50% to 75% during those nine days, so no, there is no real reason to leave those AuctionAds for another day.

I’m back to normal adsense, and hopefully revenue will jump back to normal once I remove AuctionAds from CashCook.Info

So, this challenge is a total failure, I know other webmasters have made quite a nice sum with AuctioAds. I guess I failed because CashCook.info isn’t so much product oriented, and anyway, the chance that freebie-lovers buy something isn’t too high, is it?

So… two more days passed since last report. Let’s see how are my stats now.

Well, to tell the truth, there isn’t much new to say.

Yesterday an auction that starter on the 16/6th ended, and gave me 34 cents, nearly quadrupling my income from 13 cents to a the unlivable amount of 47 cents. Yeah, I know, with Adsense I’m making that same amount in a single day, and here it took me a week to reach this amount.
And before placing AuctionAds I was making four times the amount with Adsense.

Altogether up until now I got 27658 impressions, and 424 clicks. That’s 0.005 CPM or 0.009 CPC. I would have done better if I placed a few cheap CPM banners ads on my site.
Three more days until I can finally remove those pesky Ads from CashCook.Info, unless of course a miracle happens, and suddenly those ads make 50 bucks (and believe me or not, but many webmasters had such spikes with Auction Ads).

AuctionAds.com has offered it’s publishers a challenge to add their ads for 10 days, and see how it works for them.
For those who doesn’t know, AuctionAds is a new publisher network, that allows it’s publishers to place Adsense-style affiliate ads.

Previously I already had AuctionAds on CashCook.Info, but have removed them after I saw there were no revenue at all for 3 days.

Today is day number 5 for my AuctionAds challenge, and here are the results:
Impressions:14802 Clicks: 213 CTR: 1.44% Revenue:$0.13

Just a quick note, this Impressions are not the same as Adsense Impressions. Adsense counts a single page view as a single impression, even if there’s 3 ads on that page. AuctionAds, on the other hand, counts every ad view as an impression, this means that if a visitor shows a page with 3 ads, this counts as 3 impressions.
Anyway, with this said, I can say that AuctionAds is getting almost 10 times the clicks Adsense gets.
However, the revenue is not at all close to the Adsense revenue.
Beside that, my Adsense CTR, and with it the revenue dropped by nearly 50% once I introduced AuctionAds , so for now I’m only loosing money from AuctionAds.

Nevertheless, I promised myself to keep AuctionAds for ten days, and I’m going to keep this promise, maybe after day number 7, when a whole week ends, I might see an increase in revenue.
